Comments Off on Tom Brady Probably Knew the Footballs Were Doctored…

Dr. Brett’s Thoughts:

The idea that Tom Brady didn’t know what was happening with the deflation of his footballs before last year’s A.F.C Championship game against the Colts seems silly.  I’ve heard a lot of arguments on ESPN and read several articles. Like many others I’m not concerned about 12 PSI versus 13 PSI or the nature of the rule that Mr. Brady apparently broke. It’s the cover up that I find insulting. I’ve always liked and respected Brady, even though I’m a lifelong Giants fan. I like and respect Bill Clinton. What I don’t like is lying and denying, a part of our business and political culture that seems all too common.  Wouldn’t it be nice if just once someone rich and famous would admit to wrongdoing immediately, apologize and accept the consequence of their actions? When Bill Clinton waved his fingers and denied having sexual relations with ‘that woman’ almost everyone on the planet knew he was lying. I believe most of us feel similar about Tom Brady. It isn’t cool.
