SAN PEDRO (CBSLA) — A car crashed into an LAPD station in San Pedro overnight.,Somehow a driver got by some exterior barriers and drove into the lobby of the Harbor area station.,I’ve been doing this for almost 30 years next month and I’ve never seen a car drive into the lobby of a police station before.”,The lobby was closed at the time so nobody was hurt.,The driver was also unhurt as was a baby inside her car at the time.
NORTHRIDGE — The coroner’s office on Monday released the names of both people killed in a two-car crash in Northridge that left four other people injured.,The driver was Stephen Hook, 61, of the Sherwood Forest neighborhood of Northridge and his passenger, Meredith Smith, 62, of Lancaster, according to the coroner’s office.,Hook died at a local hospital.,The other car, described as a sedan, was occupied by four adults.,The driver and front passenger were briefly trapped in the wreckage and were taken to a hospital in critical condition, while two rear passengers were hospitalized in serious condition, Humphrey said.

PASADENA (CBSLA) — Authorities have arrested five suspects in connection with an armed robbery and high-speed pursuit that stretched from Pasadena to East Hollywood Friday.,Officers pursued the suspects in a white Kia Sol at high speeds on the 210 and 134 freeways before the driver moved onto surface streets.,The suspect vehicle exited the freeway at Harvard Blvd. and Melrose Ave. around 5 p.m., when five people fled on foot.,The suspects could be seen hopping over fences in the surrounding neighborhood to evade authorities, who set up a perimeter and eventually brought them into custody.,The suspects had not been identified at the time of this report.
