After searching miles of water since Saturday, Feb. 13, authorities called off the search for a 28-year-old diver missing in the ocean near Crystal Cove State Park, an official said Monday, Feb. 15.,The diver was last seen wearing a camouflage wetsuit, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.,After searching for 18 hours and covering 138 square nautical miles, the Coast Guard suspended its search, Lt. Ben McIntyre said Monday morning.,The Coast Guard dispatched a 45-foot-long response boat, a cutter and a helicopter to look for the diver.,“Having not seen anything that whole time … the decision was made to call (the search) off,” the Coast Guard’s McIntyre said.
